Surendranath Sarangi

Surendranath Sarangi possesses extensive experience in the steel industry, having most recently held the position of General Manager for Raw Materials, Logistics, and Materials Handling at VISA Steel Limited. Prior to this role, Sarangi contributed to the integration of steel production at VISA STEEL LTD from December 2006 to September 2011. The facility produced various products, including Pig Iron and DRI, and operated a 75MW captive power plant. Earlier experience includes working in the Industrial Engineering department of Refractory Works of Orissa Cement Ltd from June 1978 to November 1980. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Science with Chemistry Honors and Distinction from Regional College of Education, BBSR, a diploma in Management from IGNOU in 1985, and foundational education completed at Orissa Police High School from 1967 to 1972.
