Dan Wang

Dan Wang is a seasoned data and machine learning professional with extensive experience in various roles at Visa since June 2016, including Senior Director, Director, Lead Machine Learning Scientist, and Staff Machine Learning Scientist. Prior to Visa, Dan held the position of Data Architect at CCC Information Services and served as a Research Assistant at Purdue University's Cyber Center, engaging in bioinformatics and big data analytics. Dan has also completed internships as a Data Scientist at SparkCognition and as a Research Intern at Nationwide Children's Hospital, focusing on machine learning and bioinformatics data analysis. Dan Wang holds a Ph.D. in Computer Information Technology from Purdue University, a Master of Science in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Peking University.
