Dipayan Maiti

Dipayan Maiti is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as Senior Director of AIML in the Value Added Services division at Visa since December 2024. Prior to that, Dipayan held the position of Director of Applied Sciences for AI Applications at Jupiter from October 2021 to December 2024, contributing to the company's formative years. As a Co-Founder of Daisho, from September 2014 to September 2021, and Insight Jedi from July 2013 to September 2021, Dipayan played instrumental roles in developing innovative machine learning platforms. Previous experience includes serving as Senior Manager at Mu Sigma, where Dipayan focused on unstructured data and text mining, and as a Lead Statistical Collaborator at Virginia Tech's Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Statistical Analysis. Additionally, as a Senior Risk Analyst at JPMorgan Chase, Dipayan was involved in credit risk modeling for significant transaction volumes. Academic credentials include a PhD and MS in Statistics from Virginia Tech and an Integrated MSc in Mathematics & Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
