James Mirfin

James Mirfin serves as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Risk and Identity Solutions at Visa since October 2022, focusing on making payments more secure and customer-centric. Prior to this role, James held various positions within Visa, including interim leadership of the Risk and Identity Solutions business and strategic operations leadership. James also has experience as Global Head of Digital Identity & Fraud Solutions at Refinitiv, where responsibilities included the strategic development and execution of fraud protection solutions. Additional leadership roles include positions at PayPal, American Express, and advisory roles in industry associations. James holds an MBA from the University of Warwick and a BA Hons in Business Studies from the University of Plymouth.
