Joanne Kubba

Joanne Kubba currently serves as Senior Vice President of Government Engagement for Central Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Visa, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Joanne held key positions at Binance as VP of Government Affairs & Policy for APAC & MEA and at Uber, where leadership as Head of EMEA Public Policy involved managing a team across 40 countries to achieve favorable regulatory outcomes. Joanne's extensive experience also includes roles at the Center for Strategic and International Studies as Director of Public Policy for the Middle East & Africa, and various positions in public affairs with organizations such as Google and the United Nations. Holding a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, a postgraduate certificate in Public Relations from Humber College, and degrees in International Development from McGill University and Sociology from McMaster University, Joanne possesses a strong educational foundation to complement a successful career in government relations and public policy.
