Margarita Vargas Patron

Margarita Vargas Patron is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in corporate and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Communications Manager at the Visa Foundation, Margarita has previously held roles such as Manager of Global Corporate Communications and Content Coordinator for Global Employee and Executive Communications at Visa. Margarita's early career includes positions as Program Assistant V at the University of San Francisco, Development Associate at Californians for Justice, and a fellow in the Latino Board Leadership Academy at the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley. Margarita also contributed as a Phone Banker for Raise the Wage San Diego. Educationally, Margarita holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Biology from the University of San Diego.
