Neal Thapar

Neal Thapar has extensive experience in leadership and training within the financial services industry. As the Head of Learning for Visa in Asia Pacific from April 2020 to July 2023, Neal led a team of 15 professionals, supporting over 8,000 employees across the region. Previously, as Head of Sales Training at Visa, Neal designed and delivered a consultative selling methodology to over 500 participants. Prior to Visa, Neal was Managing Director at Templar Advisors, establishing the firm's Southeast Asia operations. Additional roles include Executive Director at J.P. Morgan, where Neal drove business development for US multinational clients, and various positions at Citi, including Director of Regional Sales Consultant and Director of Corporate Bank Capital Management, where responsibilities included managing complex cash management solutions and capital approvals. Neal holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BSc in Philosophy & Economics from The London School of Economics.
