Ramakrishnan Gopalan is a senior leader in the payments and lending industry, with extensive leadership experience across multiple APAC markets. They have held significant roles at Citi, including Senior Vice President and Country Head of Credit Initiation, where they spearheaded process re-engineering and reduced credit losses by over 85%. Currently, as Chief Product Officer for Visa in India and South Asia, they drive innovation in payment solutions while enhancing client partnerships. Gopalan is also an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, where they earned an MBA in Finance & Operations.
