Luis Maria Marcos

Luis Maria Marcos has a range of work experience in various roles and companies. Luis Maria started their career in 2015 as a Senior Transmission Engineer at Movitel S.A. In 2018, they worked as an Assistant Lecturer at Mozambique Technical Institute and as a Guest Lecturer at Medium Institute of Legal and Management Sciences. In 2019, Luis founded Tesla Engenharias, lda and also worked as a Health Safety Environment Officer at Tsebo Servco Mozambique. In 2021, they became an Electronic Engineer at Engitagus Mocambique and an Efective Member at Ordem dos Engenheiros de Moçambique. Luis Maria currently holds the role of Telecommunications Engineer at Visabeira Global SGPS, SA, starting in 2022. Luis has also briefly held positions as a Health Safety Environment Officer and an Electronic Security Systems Engineer.

Luis Maria Marcos has a diverse and extensive education history, spanning various fields and areas of study. In 2012 to 2015, they attended Escola Superior de Ciencias Nauticas, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering. Following this, in 2016, they enrolled in Cursos24h to gain knowledge in Quality Management.

In 2017, Luis attended the Metelomecanica Training Center and acquired skills as an Electrotechnical Technician, specializing in Electricity of Industrial Conservation. Moving forward to 2019, they participated in multiple courses and programs. Luis Maria became certified as a Rescuer & Volunteer by the Mozambican Red Cross, completed a Fire Fighting Course at the Servico Nacional de Salvacao Publica (SENSAP), and obtained a Competency Based Training Certificate in Teaching from Universidade Pedagogica de Mozambique.

In the same year, Luis also pursued specific certifications and training, including Food Safety and Hygiene in the Catering Industry from Asean Online Education AOE. Furthermore, they obtained a Técnico Superior de Segurança, Ambiente e Qualidade degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technician from Associação Técnica de Formação em Higiene e Segurança – FORSEGURO.

In 2020, Luis continued their studies by completing a Tecnico Representante em Higiene e Seguranca no Trabalho program at Above Mozambique. Luis Maria also engaged in SIG-QASSTSA training at SIQAS. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Science and Technology of Renewable Energy at Universidade Eduardo Mondlane from 2020 to 2022.

Most recently, in 2022, Luis Maria Marcos further enhanced their skill set by attending Huawei Technology, where they obtained a certification in Occupational Safety and Health. Finally, they enrolled in the Gravity Learning Center from 2022 to 2025, obtaining certification in Fall Arrest & Basic Rescue International.
