Paulo Soeiro Ferreira has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, spanning over three decades. Paulo started their career in 1988 as a Wireless System Engineer at Siemens, where they worked on the Siemens C450 Mobile System. Paulo then held roles as a Senior Wireless Engineer and National Account Executive at Siemens, before becoming an International Key Account Manager for Mobile Networks.
In 1998, Ferreira joined Lucent Technologies Bell Labs Innovations as a Wireless Network Implementation Services Director, overseeing projects for Vodafone and TMN. After two years, they moved on to managing their own company, SPCOM - Servicos Profissionais em Comunicacoes Moveis, as a Managing Director.
Ferreira's career continued to progress as they joined Nortel Networks in 2001 as a Senior Wireless Consultant and later worked at ONI as a Senior Project Manager in 2002. In 2003, they became the Wireless Network Deployment - Program Director for the Latin America Region at WFI. Paulo secured major contract awards and developed strong networking channels with well-known companies in Europe, the Middle East, and India during their time as Head of International Business Development at Viatel.
From 2008 to 2011, Ferreira served as the Managing Director of Wireless Worx, a VisabeiraGlobal company. In this role, they were responsible for company administration and strategic management, including the development of business plans and sales strategies.
Afterward, Ferreira joined Grupo Visabeira as the Consortium Director for the EPICO PT2020 National IoT Mobilizer. Paulo contributed to the company's innovation and engineering efforts, overseeing projects and leading the team.
Most recently, Ferreira has taken on the role of Head of Engineering and Innovation at Visabeira Global SGPS, SA, where they continue to make valuable contributions to the company's endeavors in the field of engineering and innovation.

From 2000 to 2000, Paulo attended the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, where they completed a Post Graduation in Business Management. Paulo'sfield of study was the PAGE – Advanced Management Program for Executives.
Between 1998 and 1999, Paulo studied at the Stevens Institute of Technology, focusing on Project Management. Paulo obtained a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
In 1987, Paulo pursued a course in Electronics and Digital Systems Engineering at the INESC (Instituto Nacional de Engenharia Sistemas e Computadores). The end year is not specified, and they did not obtain a degree in this field.
Before that, from 1986 to 1987, Paulo attended the same institution, INESC, and earned an Associate's degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology.
Additionally, in July 2015, Paulo completed the Cloud Developer Bootcamp offered by IBM, receiving a certification in Cloud Development.
