Marco Pereira

Marco Pereira has had a varied work experience. From 2008 to 2015, they worked at Allied Global Contact Center & BPO as a Line Manager / Reporting Services / Real Time Analyst. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Grupo Financiero Bantrab and a Software Architect and Consulting Architect at Viscosity North America. Since 2017, they have been a Professor at Universidad San Pablo de Guatemala and, since 2022, a Professor at Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, where they have been teaching Integrated Cloud Solutions and Computer Science Masters, covering topics from managing and designing a complete cloud architecture up to IaC with automation using Terraform.

Marco Pereira completed their Engineer's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala between 2007 and 2014. Marco then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Universidad San Pablo de Guatemala between 2015 and 2016, with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General. Marco is currently enrolled in a Master of Science - MS program in Artificial Intelligence at Universidad de La Rioja, which they began in 2022.
