Kevin Chen

Kevin Chen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kevin currently serves as the CEO of Viscovery, an artificial intelligence company that specializes in Vision AI solutions using Computer Vision and Deep Learning technologies. Prior to this role, they worked as a Partner at GD1 Fund II, where they focused on early-stage technology investments in Taiwan and New Zealand. Kevin also held the position of General Partner at Pinehurst Advisors and Board Director at HEC Group. Previously, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Laureate Education (China) and the Managing Director at Ingram Micro, where they oversaw all aspects of the company's operations in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Kevin also served as the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions / Business Development at Ingram Micro. Before that, they held the position of Manager, Field Applications and Marketing at PMC-Sierra.

Kevin Chen earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Kevin further pursued their education by completing an MBA at INSEAD from 2005 to 2006.
