Matthias Ortega

Matthias Ortega is a seasoned compliance professional currently serving as the Head of Compliance and Deputy Head of Legal & Compliance at Viseca since January 2022. Prior to this role, Matthias gained extensive experience in compliance and regulatory matters at KPMG Switzerland from November 2016 to December 2021, where roles included Assistant Manager and Senior Consultant in Assurance & Regulation for Financial Services. Additionally, Matthias spent over a decade in the Schweizer Armee, holding various officer ranks from March 2010 to April 2023. Academically, Matthias holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Financial and Commercial Law from King's College London, a Master of Science (MSc) in Management and Law, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Wirtschaftsrecht from ZHAW School of Management and Law.
