Scott Blackburn has had a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Scott started their career at Hamilton Sundstrand as a Research Engineer in 1988 before moving on to Ford Motor Company as a Product Design Engineer in 1989. Scott then worked at Dana Holding Corporation from 1991 to 1999, also as a Product Design Engineer. In 1999, Scott joined Ford Motor Company again, this time as a Product Development Engineer. In 2000, they transitioned to Dana Holding Corporation as a Product Design Engineer and stayed until 2007. Since 2007, Scott has been a part of Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. Scott initially worked as a Sr. Manager in Field Applications Engineering & Automotive Business Development and is currently the Director of Business Development in the Automotive sector.

Scott Blackburn earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Bowling Green State University, from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Toledo, during the period of 1986 to 1988. Scott Blackburn's educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which they completed at The University of Toledo from 1982 to 1986.
