Sophie Haarlem has over 19 years of work experience. Sophie began their career in 2001 as a Chief Accountant at AkzoNobel, where they also served as an Internal Auditor. In 2004, they moved to Kema Nord Kraft as a Controller. In 2006, they assumed the role of Head of Key Account Management at Bergen Energi. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Key Account Manager at Bixia AB, where they were responsible for selling portfolio management of energy, handling existing customers, and business development of fund solutions for the energy market. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Sales Director at Specto Sales AB, where they worked as a consultant helping companies with organizational issues and acted as a COO in the companies' entrepreneurial phase. In 2014, they became a Key Account Manager at Feelgood Svenska AB, where they had budget responsibility for approximately 60 customers, with a total budget of approx. 15 million SEK. Sophie also worked as a project leader for the teams for the larger customers. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Fencer in the national team for the Swedish Fäktförbundet. In 2016, they became the Sales Director at Curando, where they were responsible for building up the business from start with product development, specifications to the IT department, putting up a CRM system, and sales to new and existing customers. Finally, in 2020 they took on the role of Senior Sales Executive at Visiba Care.

Sophie Haarlem obtained a Master of Science in Business and Economics with a focus in Marketing and Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics between 1997 and 2001. Prior to this, they obtained an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 1992 and 1997. Sophie also attended Östra Real, though no degree or field of study was specified.
