Ian Agranat

Ian Agranat is the founder and CEO of Wildlife Acoustics, Inc., established in 2003, which has become a leading global supplier of bio-acoustics hardware and software solutions, selling over 150,000 recorders in over 100 countries. Agranat has also contributed as a limited partner and angel investor with various venture capital firms, including Visible Hands, Bright Ventures, and Backstage Capital, focusing on investing in overlooked founders and promoting diversity and inclusion in the economy. Prior professional experience includes leadership roles at Agranat Systems, Virata Corporation, and Globespan Virata, where Agranat significantly advanced technology development and company operations. Agranat holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Industrial Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
