Hlaing Than

Hlaing Than is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in technical roles, particularly in generative AI, product and infrastructure security, and analytics. Currently serving as a Principal Software Developer at Visier Inc. since January 2011, Hlaing has contributed to the development of a generative AI digital assistant, new analytic applications, and has led initiatives to enhance data security. Previously, Hlaing held senior engineering leadership positions at Visier, overseeing site reliability engineering, expanding AWS infrastructure, and contributing to the company's rapid growth from a small startup to a significant enterprise. Prior experience includes roles at SAP, where contributions included the implementation of Crystal Reports HTML rendering and team leadership, as well as system analysis at Capraro Technologies and research assistance at The Research Foundation for SUNY. Hlaing holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and a B.Sc (Hons) in Computer Information Systems from London Metropolitan University.
