Davor Magdic has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering industry. Davor began their career in 1999 as an Embedded Software Engineer at Green Hills Software, where they integrated third-party RTOSes with GHS tools and libraries, helped clients debug and troubleshoot devices in deployment, extended and developed debug servers for device control over JTAG or network for faster development, and initiated a hack around a limitation in Windows NT kernel to enable a big customer to use Green Hills. In 2001, they moved to Texas Instruments as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2012, they joined RightScale as a Senior Software Engineer, followed by InTouch Health in 2014 in the same role. In 2018, they joined Bruker Nano Surfaces as a Staff Software Engineer, where they took initiative to improve software infrastructure, created an automated “dashcam” application screen recording tool, created a video image enhancer, created automated regression testing infrastructure and tests, contained a 3rd party library that was crashing on Windows 10, created a DSP logging module, overhauled image display module, and worked on many bug fixes and new software features. In 2020, they joined CrossnoKaye as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2019 they founded Kinetronix, a walk-in portal to a virtual arena and world’s first hands-free gaming station for venues.
Davor Magdic has a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Belgrade. Davor also has one year of experience in the Ph.D. program in Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara.
