Chris Hodge is a highly experienced professional in the field of ophthalmology and eye health, currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Sydney since 2018, where responsibilities include leading multidimensional research efforts and advising on academic matters. Chris also holds the position of Clinical Senior Lecturer with the Save Sight Institute and has been a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Vision Eye Institute since 2010. Additional roles include Honorary Associate at the University of Technology Sydney and previously, a Hospital Scientist at the Lions NSW Eye Bank. Chris began a career in orthoptics, moving from an Orthoptist role at the Sydney Refractive Surgery Centre to leading teams as the Orthoptic Team Leader at Vision Eye Institute. Chris holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Ophthalmology and Eye Health and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health (Orthoptics) from the University of Sydney.
