Ed Boets

Ed Boets is an experienced eye surgeon and ophthalmologist with a career spanning several decades. Current positions include Eye Surgeon at Vision Eye Institute since August 2007 and Ophthalmologist at Nederlands Oogheelkundig Gezelschap since 1998. Previously, Ed Boets held roles such as Eye Surgeon for The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists from 2008 to 2016 and Ophthalmologist at Diakonessenhuis from January 1999 to July 2007. Ed Boets began medical training as an Ophthalmology Resident and PhD Student at Leiden University from 1992 to 1998, following the attainment of an MD and PhD in Medicine and Ophthalmology. Ed Boets also served as a 1e Luitenant in the Department of Ophthalmology at Koninklijke Landmacht from November 1990 to December 1991. Education was completed at Leiden University, with earlier studies at Stanislas College Delft.
