Merrily Bell has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Merrily started their career as a Summer Intern at Snake River Lodge & Spa in 2002. Merrily then worked as a Fine Dining Manager at Cheeca Lodge & Spa from 2003 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Biltmore as an Assistant Food Beverage Manager. From 2005 to 2007, they served as a Resort Manager at Cocoplum Beach & Tennis Club. Merrily then worked as an Operations Manager at Wesley Hotels & Resorts-Hotel Indigo from 2007 to 2008. Merrily joined North Point Hospitality Group, Inc. in 2008 as an AGM/ Hilton Garden Inn- Nashville/Vanderbilt. Merrily then moved to Vista Host Hotels, INC and held the roles of AGM, Hilton Garden Inn Nashville/Vanderbilt from 2010 to 2012 and General Manager-Home2 Suites by Hilton Nashville/Vanderbilt from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, they started working at Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. first as the General Manager- Hilton Garden Inn-Nashville/Franklin and later assumed the role of Dual General Manager from 2019 to 2020. Finally, Merrily became the General Manager - The Edwin Hotel - Autograph Collection at Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. in 2023.

Merrily Bell attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Restaurant Administration. In 2006, they enrolled in the AHLEI - American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute to pursue a Certified Hotel Administrator certification. No end year for this program is provided.
