Valerie Sheety-Pilon

Valerie Sheety-Pilon, O.D., currently serves as the Vice President of Clinical and Medical Affairs at VSP Vision, a position held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Valerie was the Vice President of Eye Care Solutions at Eyefinity from November 2019 to March 2022, focusing on expanding the reach of VSP's Eyefinity platform and collaborating with various stakeholders. Valerie's extensive experience also includes serving as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Illinois College of Optometry and holding roles such as Medical Director for Vision Services at OC Surgical and Director of Clinical Trial Operations at Sierra Clinical Trials. With a background managing over 35 FDA clinical trials in ophthalmology and vision science, Valerie gained foundational expertise as a Managing Optometrist at both Sierra Eye & Laser Institute and Walmart Vision Center. Valerie holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
