David Ainsworth

David is a passionate leader with 30 years’ experience of working in the NHS, working today as the director of strategy and partnerships at Sherwood Forest Hospitals. David is committed to creating opportunities for young people to progress into promising and bright futures. Firmly of the belief that everyone has the potential to do well, David commits to using his own journey of learning and working to give back to others. By working across settings like education and health, David firmly believes they can make a real difference to peoples’ lives. As a governor, he intends to make best use of his connections to create opportunities as well as drive improvements in the future of education offers.
