Samson Lee has over 20 years of work experience in various technology-related roles. Samson is currently working at Visionary Machines as the Chief Technology Evangelist and has been serving as the Chief Technology Officer since 2019. Previously, they worked at CISRA, Canon's Australian R&D Centre, where they held multiple managerial positions including Manager of Image and Video Projects from 2015 to 2019 and Manager of R&D Quality from 2013 to 2016. Samson also worked at Alcatel-Lucent as a Research Engineer, where they focused on predicting the behavior of real-time streaming video and audio over large-scale networks. Samson has experience at UNDP, where they designed and implemented streaming media and videoconferencing systems worldwide. Additionally, Samson worked at Telstra as a Network Infrastructure Engineer, designing network infrastructure as a Cadet Professional Practical Engineer.

Samson Lee obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and Diploma of Engineering Practice from the University of Technology Sydney, specializing in Telecommunications, from 1997 to 2002. Samson then pursued a Bachelor of Business in E-Business from the same university, completing their degree from 1999 to 2002. Subsequently, Samson graduated with a PhD in Software Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney, having studied from 2003 to 2007.
