Martin Palik

Martin Palik has extensive work experience in the field of technology and software development. Martin is currently working at VisionCraft, s.r.o. as an Analyst, Researcher, and Software developer. In this role, they are responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and managing controlling software for smart sensors that analyze images. Martin uses computer vision and AI resources, such as neural networks, to customize and integrate algorithms. Martin also prepares source datasets for neural network training and maintains and upgrades existing systems. Martin works closely with other developers, business partners, UX designers, and external partners. Additionally, they manually assemble smart sensors, installs them, and provides service to customers. Martin is also responsible for analyzing data gathered by sensors.

Prior to their current role, Martin worked at Lamantine Software, a. s. as the Head of QA from February 2012 to January 2021. In this position, they analyzed business requirements documents and system specifications to identify test requirements. Martin mapped business scenarios to test cases and wrote and executed test cases.

Before becoming the Head of QA, Martin worked at Lamantine Software as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer from July 2010 to February 2012. In this role, they analyzed requirements documents and wireframes, wrote test cases for new business scenarios, and performed QA testing based on project requirements.

Martin Palik received a Bachelor's degree (Bc.) in Ekonomická informatika from Mendel University in Brno in 2009. Martin then pursued further education at Mendel University in Brno and graduated with a degree of Inženýr (Ing.) in Ekonomická informatika in 2012. In 2012, they attended Brno University of Technology, where they studied Teleinformatika for one year.
