VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Cathleen McGuire has extensive experience in vision rehabilitation and outreach, currently serving as the Senior Director of Vision Rehabilitation and Outreach at VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired since January 2009. In this role, Cathleen supervises a team of 15 Certified Vision Rehabilitation Therapists and is actively involved in recruiting and training new staff and interns. Prior to this position, Cathleen held multiple roles at Lighthouse International, including Director of Rehabilitation and Outreach and Supervisor of Vision Rehabilitation Services, as well as other positions at Helen Keller Services for the Blind and VISIONS. Cathleen holds a Master of Education in Education for Individuals with Vision Impairments from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from St. John's University.
