Marvin Davenport

Marvin Davenport currently serves as Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer for both VSP Vision and Visionworks of America, positions held since September 2020. Additionally, Marvin is an active member of the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officers Community Council and the Global Health Equity Network Council with the World Economic Forum since December 2021. Prior to these roles, Marvin held the position of Head of Inclusion & Diversity Programs at Amazon Web Services from February 2019 to September 2020 and served as Regional Diversity Leader at Raytheon from July 2015 to February 2019, where responsibilities included implementing diversity strategies and managing significant financial responsibilities. Earlier experience at Walmart included roles such as Director of Business Insights & Integration for Diversity and Senior Manager for Global Program Management, focusing on diversity initiatives and corporate strategies. Marvin holds dual Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma.
