Jennifer Shira Cmp

Jennifer Shira, CMP, currently serves as the Sr. Convention Services Manager at Visit Austin, a position held since January 2022. With a depth of experience in event coordination, Jennifer previously worked as an Event Coordinator for the City of Austin and an Exposition Center Event Coordinator for Travis County. Notable earlier roles include Special Events Coordinator at San Antonio Zoo, where Jennifer managed significant fundraising events, and Director of Events at Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce. Jennifer's career began in customer service roles, developing skills in event logistics, marketing, and operations. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Sports Management from Texas Lutheran University.
