Amy Calvert

Amy Calvert has extensive work experience in the events and hospitality industry. Amy is currently the CEO of the Events Industry Council since April 2019. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Vice President Sales at Visit Baltimore, starting in 2009. In this position, they successfully managed a $4 million program budget and led a 25-person convention sales and services team. During their tenure, they also built strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders and actively engaged in the local hospitality community. Before joining Visit Baltimore, Amy worked at IHG - InterContinental Hotels Group as the Regional Director of Groups and Meetings in Global Sales from 1999 to 2009.
