Stan Smith has a diverse work experience in various marketing roles. Stan started their career as an Account Supervisor at Wunderman Team Detroit, where they worked on the Ford Mercury Digital Account. Stan then joined Campbell Ewald as the VP Management Supervisor, where they worked on the Alltel Account and connected them with digital marketing services. Stan then moved to Fluency Media as the VP Marketing/Strategy, where they enhanced the agency's service offering and played a key role in revamping their offerings. In 2012, Stan founded their own company called Pushing Social, where they provided content marketing solutions to medium-sized and enterprise businesses. Stan co-authored the book Born to Blog, which became the strategic framework for Pushing Social's content marketing offerings. Currently, Stan is working at Visit Detroit as the Senior Director of Marketing, where they are responsible for telling Detroit's story on social networks through compelling original content.

Stan Smith attended Miami University from 1991 to 1995, where they received a degree in Political Science. Their field of study was specifically focused on Political Science and Government.
