Amy Brown

Amy Brown has a diverse background in sales and leadership roles within the convention and visitors bureau industry. Amy most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Sales & Services at Visit Fort Worth starting in April 2022. Prior to this, Amy held various positions at the Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau, including Director of Sales and Vice President of Sales. Amy also worked as the National Convention Sales Manager at the San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau and as the National Sales Manager at the George R Brown Convention Center. Amy began their career as a Destination Sales Executive at the Bryan-College Station CVB.

Amy Brown earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Business from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Prior to attending college, they obtained a High School Diploma in General Studies from Dayton High School, where they completed their education from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Amy Brown obtained certifications as a Certified Meeting Professional from the Convention Industry Council in January 2004, and as a Certified Tourism Ambassador from the Certified Tourism Ambassador™ (CTA) Program.
