Velenda Dewberry started their work experience in 1986 at Marriott Hotels, where they worked until 2001. During their time at Marriott Hotels, they held various roles. In 2004, they joined Visit Fort Worth as the Director of Sales-Southeast Region, where they are currently employed.
Velenda Dewberry attended Millwood High School from 1969 to 1980, where they focused on Legal Assistant/Paralegal studies. After completing high school, they proceeded to Rose State College from 1981 to 1984, earning an Associates degree in Paralegal Law.
