Daren Louis Kingi has over 30 years of experience in the sales and marketing industry. Daren began their career at Hilton Worldwide in 1985 and worked there for 16 years. In 2001, they joined Marriott New York City as the Market Director of Sales, where they led and directed sales and marketing efforts for all 12 managed hotels.

In 2007, Kingi moved to Renaissance Hotels North America as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
