Alex Mauthe has a diverse range of work experience. Most recently, they worked at Visit.org as an Operations Associate and previously held the position of Executive Assistant. Prior to that, Alex worked at Charitable Ventures as a Contract Grant Writer and at Higher Ground Youth & Family Services as a Grant Writer and Manager. They also worked as a Copyeditor and Graphics Operator for SOCAP - Social Capital Markets and as a Writing Associate at the University of Oregon. They had a role as an Undergraduate Academic Advisor in the University of Oregon Environmental Studies Program. Additionally, Alex gained experience as a Marketing and Fundraising Intern at EMERGE Recycling, a Development Intern at the Discovery Science Foundation, a Food Campaigns Intern at Green America, and a Tidepool Docent/Aquarium Assistant at the City of Newport Beach Natural Resources Department.
Alex Mauthe attended Rosary High School from 2011 to 2015, where they completed their high school education. They then enrolled at the University of Oregon in 2015 and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Their major was in Environmental Studies, and their coursework also included Planning, Public Policy and Management, and English. In 2019, Alex Mauthe furthered their education by obtaining a certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from Pepperdine University.
