Maria Henson has worked in the market research and insights field for over 20 years. Maria began their career as a Sr. Research Analyst at the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau in 2000. Maria then joined TNS as a Manager from 2004 to 2008. After that, they worked at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment as a Corp. Manager, Consumer Research, where they managed various consumer research projects and vendor relationships. Since 2014, they have been with Visit Orlando, where they started as a Manager of Research and Insights before being promoted to Sr. Manager and eventually Director of Market Research & Insights. Maria's expertise lies in providing actionable business intelligence and managing both quantitative and qualitative research projects.
Maria Henson has an extensive education history. Maria obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business at Stetson University from 1996 to 1998. Furthermore, Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Tomsk State University, which they earned between 1993 and 1997.
In addition to their formal education, Maria Henson has also obtained certification in Advanced Analytic Techniques from the University of Georgia's Center for Continuing Education. Maria obtained this certification in October 2018.
