Ronda Schoeneberg has extensive experience in the hospitality and convention industry. Ronda started their career as a Hotel Sales Manager at the Sheraton Safari Hotel in 1997. Ronda then worked as a West Corporate Sales Manager at the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau from 2000 to 2002.
Ronda joined the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in 2002 as the Director of West Coast & Mid-Atlantic. During their time there, they consistently negotiated and closed a significant number of room nights for new business. Ronda also earned recognition as part of the West Coast 'Team of the Year' in 2002 and 2003, and the Mid-Atlantic 'Team of the Year' in 2006.
In 2009, Ronda moved to the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau as a Senior National Account Executive for Mid-Atlantic Citywide Sales. Ronda later transitioned to the role of National Accounts Director, Southeast Citywide Sales, where they continue to solicit, book, and service national and international citywide conventions, trade shows, and other groups promoting Orlando as a premier meeting and convention destination.
Throughout their career, Ronda has consistently demonstrated strong sales skills and achieved impressive revenue results for the organizations they have worked with.
Ronda Schoeneberg received their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Human Services from Lee University, where they attended from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certification as a Meeting Sales Certified Mentor from Simpleview in October 2020.
