Omar Tapia

Omar Tapia is the Senior Director of Information Technology at Visit Phoenix, a position held since 2023, after previously serving as the Director of Information Technology from 2008 to 2023. With nearly two decades of experience in IT, Omar has successfully executed technology solutions aligning with organizational goals, managed a companywide SaaS-based CRM platform, and overseen IT infrastructure and help desk functions. Earlier in their career, Omar worked as an IT Specialist at Kamble Company Transportation Services, Inc. They hold a B.S. in Computer Engineering Technology from DeVry University, earned between 2001 and 2004.
