Troy Love has extensive work experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. Troy started their career in 1995 as the Executive General Manager/COO of The Historic Bullock Properties, where they were responsible for the operations and direction of a multi-million dollar company. This included overseeing multiple hotels, gaming casinos, restaurants, and meeting facilities, as well as managing a team of over 150 employees.

In 2007, Troy joined Visit San Antonio, where they initially worked as a Senior Sales Manager. Troy then progressed to the role of Director of Association Sales - East & West Coast. Throughout their time at Visit San Antonio, Troy has played a crucial role in driving sales and promoting the city as a top destination for associations and events. Their expertise in sales and their knowledge of the industry have contributed to the success of Visit San Antonio.

Troy Love obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science from Black Hills State University, which they attended from 1988 to 1993. Troy then pursued further education at the same university and earned a Master's degree in Tourism Management from 1993 to 1995. Prior to university, Troy completed their high school education at Campbell County High School from 1985 to 1987.
