Gloria Soendker

Gloria Soendker has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Their most recent role was as the Chief Nursing Officer at the Visiting Nurse Association of Kansas City, where they held leadership responsibilities. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Hospice Services at the same organization.

Before joining the Visiting Nurse Association, Gloria worked at the Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care as the Manager of Palliative Care/Marketing/Admissions for seven years. In this role, they managed personnel, implemented projects to improve office processes and nursing care, and provided marketing strategies to community liaisons.

From 2011 to 2013, Gloria worked at Gentiva Healthcare Services as the Director of Clinical Management. Gloria was responsible for quality improvement measures, clinical staff training, and acted as a community liaison for sales and clinical staff compliance.

Earlier in their career, Gloria worked as a Home Health RN at North Kansas City Hospital from 2000 to 2011. Gloria served as a case manager for home health patients, coordinated patient care, and maintained high patient/customer satisfaction ratings.

Before joining North Kansas City Hospital, Gloria held the position of Staff Nurse at John Knox Village/Barr Healthcare Services, where they served as a case manager for home health services and was the first nurse trained on KCI Wound Vac.

Gloria's earliest work experience was as the Patient Care Coordinator/Program Director/Staff Nurse at Kendallwood Healthcare Services. Gloria served as a physician liaison, coordinated patient care for home health and hospice services, and managed patient referrals.

Gloria Soendker earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Missouri, Columbia, where they studied from 1979 to 1983.
