Betty Tully Cares

Betty Tully Cares has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of industries and roles. Betty most recently worked at Visiting Nurse Home and Hospice as a Chief Advancement Officer, responsible for leading the organization's advancement efforts. Prior to that, they held a role in communications and donor relations at the same company.

Before joining Visiting Nurse Home and Hospice, Betty worked as a Patient Advocate at MDVIP for two years. Betty also served as the Manager of Stewardship and Donor Relations at Lifespan's Newport Hospital Foundation, as well as the Provider Liaison and Recruitment Coordinator at Newport Hospital. Additionally, they were the Chair of the Board of Trustees at The French American School of Rhode Island.

Betty's early career includes roles as the VP of Operations & Business Development at Alidade Incorporated, a Pharmaceutical Marketing Representative at Innovex, and Temporary Office Staff at Aquidneck Employment Agency. Betty also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Salve Regina University and as a Physician Representative/Business Development at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

Betty Tully Cares pursued their education at Loyola University Maryland from 1984 to 1988, completing their Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing and Media Arts. Betty then furthered their studies at George Mason University from 1988 to 1991, earning their Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing with a concentration in Fiction.
