Issis Melin

Issis Melin is an experienced professional with a focus on issues related to honor-related violence and oppression. Currently serving as Samordnare VINR och HRV and a föreläsare at Håbo kommun since 2023, Issis previously worked as a Sakkunnig at Länsstyrelsen Östergötland, providing guidance and support to professionals in the field from June 2021 to August 2023. Prior to that, from December 2016 to June 2021, Issis was involved in developing strategies and providing support as both a utvecklare and a skolkurator at Västerås stad, where efforts were centered on psychosocial issues within the school system. Earlier experience includes a role as Familjevägledare at Västerås stad from January 2007 to August 2013 and as a Handledare at Eskilstuna kommun in 2006. Issis holds a Kandidatexamen in Sociology from Mälardalen University and has attended Örebro University for additional studies in 2003.
