George Zamfir

George Zamfir is an experienced professional in the fields of cyber security and IT management. Currently serving as a Cyber Security Incident Responder at Visma since February 2021, George is actively involved in incident response, digital forensics, and threat hunting, while also developing automation processes using Python. As an Associate Professor at "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy since March 2022, George educates students in Cyber Security Defence, covering various topics including network security and vulnerability management. Previous roles include IT Manager at windeln.de SE, where leadership of a QA team was a key responsibility, Integration Developer at Azets, and Embedded Software Engineer at AUSY, demonstrating a wide range of technical expertise. George holds a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu.
