Merete Hverven is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles. Currently serving as CEO of Visma since December 2011, Merete has also held positions including Deputy CEO, CHRO, and HR Director for the BPO Division. In addition to this role, Merete is a member of the Corporate Assembly and Nomination Committee at Equinor and serves on the Board of KONGSBERG. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Ernst & Young as Nordic Human Resources Manager, focusing on HR for the Tax division in the Nordics, and a role at Arthur Andersen as a Financial Management Consultant. Merete holds a CEMS Master in International Leadership from the University of St.Gallen and a Siviløkonom degree in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics, along with foundational studies in Psychology at the University of Bergen.
