Joop Vreeburg

Joop Vreeburg is the owner of Vreeburg consultancy bv since January 2020, specializing in advising and guiding small-scale procurement processes, and is working part-time due to retirement. Vreeburg also serves as a buyer at Visser & Smit Bouw bv since July 2015, overseeing procurement for various substation projects in the construction combination VIA in Amsterdam. From July 1994 to March 2014, Vreeburg was a buyer at BAM Utiliteitsbouw, managing the complete procurement process for the region and contributing to group procurement strategies. Earlier roles include work as a preparer/buyer at Aannemingsbedrijf Duprie from August 1991 to May 1994, and as a site manager/preparer/buyer at Aannemingsbedrijf Tetteroo from July 1980 to 1991. Vreeburg began a career as a site manager at KBM in Katwijk a/d Rijn from 1978 to 1980. Educational qualifications include a project leader degree in Construction with a specialization in Construction and Technology from HTI in Amsterdam (1981-1984) and a degree in Building from the same institution (1978-1981).
