Shemar Blakeney

Shemar Blakeney has work experience in multiple roles and industries. In 2015, they began working as a Grocery Associate at Food Lion and held the position until November 2020. In 2020, they joined Vista Clinical - Clinical Reference Laboratory Services as a Lead Covid Technician/Medical Lab Technician. Currently, Shemar is employed at A.I.S. Inc. as a Protected Species Observer/Passive Acoustics Monitor starting from June 2022.

Shemar Blakeney's education history began in 2015 when they enrolled in Hampden-Sydney College. Shemar pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a focus on Marine Biology, and completed their studies in 2018. In 2017, they also participated in a Study Abroad program called Semester at Sea, where they further explored the field of Marine Biology.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Shemar continued their education at Bangor University from 2019 to 2020. During this time, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Marine Biology.

In terms of additional certifications, Shemar obtained a Protected Species Observer certification from Smultea Sciences in November 2021.
