Volker Wiebking

Volker Wiebking is a Senior Medical Director at Genentech since August 2020, specializing in clinical development within the CD20/CD3 Bispecifics Program. Prior to this role, Volker served as Lead Medical Director and Medical Director at Stanford University from January 2016 to August 2020, focusing on the Division of Stem Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine under the mentorship of Matthew Porteus, MD, PhD. Volker completed a residency in Pediatrics at LMU Klinikum München, where training included Pediatric Oncology, Hematology, and Stem Cell Transplantation, between September 2010 and December 2015. Volker holds a Board Certification in Pediatrics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and also obtained a medical degree from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, supplemented by education at Medizinische Hochschule Hannover.
