Mary Hemenway

Mary Hemenway currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Vista College Prep since July 2023. Prior to this role, Mary was the Data Manager at KIPP Foundation from August 2022 to June 2023, where responsibilities included managing data systems and coordinating enrollment and attendance data. Experience as an Assessment Associate at Success Academy Charter Schools from June 2021 to July 2022 involved training staff on academic logistics and maintaining data accuracy. Mary also worked as a Research Assistant at Harvard Graduate School of Education, conducting and analyzing research on program effectiveness. Earlier teaching positions include roles at Avenues: The World School, Pharos Academy, and ETHOS Academy, as well as serving as a Corps Member with Teach For America. Mary Hemenway holds a Master’s degree in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University and another Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Virginia.
