Martin Swain

Martin Swain has a diverse work experience in the field of risk management and internal audit. Martin worked as the Director of Financial Risk and Control at Vista starting from May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Group Head of Internal Audit & Risk at Watches of Switzerland Group PLC from December 2019 to May 2023. In this role, they established the internal audit function and developed a risk management framework. Martin led a team of nine people and developed various audit methodology documentation and risk management procedures. Before that, they held the position of Senior Manager Internal Audit at easyJet from May 2018 to November 2019. Martin also worked as a Senior Operational Auditor at Worldpay from January 2017 to April 2018. Prior to that, Martin worked as a Manager at Deloitte UK from March 2014 to December 2016, an Executive in Business Risk Services at Grant Thornton UK LLP from January 2013 to March 2014, and an Internal Auditor at RSM Tenon (now RSM UK) from August 2009 to January 2013.

Martin Swain attended William de Ferrers School. After completing their schooling, they pursued a degree in Accounting and Financial Management at The University of Sheffield, which they successfully obtained in 2009.
