Robert Praefke

Robert joined Vista Metals Corp. in 1994 where he was responsible for billet operations and was appointed Vice President of Operations in 1996. He has more than three decades of experience in the aluminum manufacturing industry. Today, he is Executive Vice President of Vista Metals Corp. where he is responsible for all plant operations, sales, engineering and product development.

Prior to joining the Vista Team, Mr. Praefke worked for the Illinois Central Railroad and Steelcase Inc. in various engineering positions. He received his previous aluminum experience with International Light Metals Corp. in Torrance, California, in engineering and production positions.

Robert holds a Master of Business Administration from the California State University, Long Beach and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer.
