Derek Marin

Derek Marin has a diverse background in environmental health and safety, with experience in various roles within the paint industry. Derek is currently serving as the Director of Environmental Health & Safety at Vista Paint Corporation since May 2018. Prior to this, Derek worked at Dunn-Edwards Corporation as a Senior Formula Database Chemist from July 2010 to April 2018, and as a Process Chemist from September 2007 to January 2011. Before joining Dunn-Edwards Corporation, they worked at Dunn-Edwards Paints as a Coatings Research Chemist from April 2003 to September 2007. Derek's career started at Environmental Analytical Services, where they worked as a Technician from August 1998 to March 2000.

Derek Marin attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1995 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Polymers and Coatings.
